Hopworks TV: Wax Dipping the Abbey Bottles

Posted by Hopworks on Monday, June 4, 2012

As announced earlier, Hopworks is introducing a new series of Belgian-style ales beginning with our Abbey Ale made for the Portland’s Cheers to Belgian Beers event. We bottled the beer a couple of weeks ago and then decided to add a wax seal for that Old World look. After getting everything set-up and ready to go, Hopworks Brewmaster Christian got a special assist from his son, Julian. Keep an eye out for these hitting the shelves soon. Enjoy!

Also, look for our second in the series, a Belgian-style Pale Ale, later this Summer.
