Hopworks Medals at the Great American Beer Festival
on Tuesday, October 16, 2012A sleepy Saturday morning for the HUB crew in Denver became a lot more festive when Hopworks Urban Brewery was announced as the Bronze Medal winner in the Kellerbier category at the Great American Beer Festival. The Kellerbier is an unfiltered variation of HUB Organic Lager with a fuller body and some lemony characteristics provided by the unfiltered yeast.
This was the fourth medal Hopworks received at GABF, previously winning Gold Medals for Rise Up Red and Ace of Spades and a Bronze Medal for Hopworks IPA.
Hopworks had another exciting trip to Denver, promoting organic, sustainably-made beer to more than 50,000 visitors during four sessions at the Colorado Convention Center.
HUB Organic Kellerbier will be released at Hopworks in the coming months, stay tuned for an upcoming post announcing this award-winning beer’s release.
